This section is the bottom third of the unit. It includes the assembly, rubber ring for securing middle section, and grommets for securing leg assembly.

This sturdy tool box is rugged enough for the job site and truck. Being specifically designed for the Solar Pathfinder, it secures the Pathfinder unit by locking it down and protecting the dome from damage. The tripod , manual, diagrams, pens, and other supplies also have secure storage.

This section is the top third of the unit. It includes the top assembly, dome, brass ring, and brass clips to fasten dome securely.
This is the middle third of the unit. It includes the assembly, level, compass, diagram disc, and magnetic declination adjustment.
The lens reflects a panoramic view of the site.

The aluminum tripod, being non-ferrous, will not interfere with the compass function. The tripod's telescoping legs extend to approximately 30 inches and can compensate for rugged terrain or sloped roof.
NOTE: If the inner legs of the tripod are slipping in too easily, you might try to rotate the o-rings so that another part of the o-ring is touching the inner leg. If that doesn't work, they might need to be replaced.
