Ecological Studies Done Using the Solar Pathfinder
This list is not at all inclusive and in no particular order. It only represents those that have gotten back with us once they completed their work. Please contact us upon the completion of your work so that we may include it here to benefit others. The Solar Pathfinder has been used in canopy studies, riparian data, bat and other animal habitats, mushroom farms, fisheries, etc.

WATER QUALITY MONITORING: TECHNICAL GUIDE BOOK CHAPTER 14
This document is designed as an additional chapter to the Water Quality Monitoring: Technical Guidebook (OWEB July 1999). Includes section on shade measurement using the Solar Pathfinder. "When placed in stream channel, the Solar Ptahfinder becomes a convenient tool for estimating the amount of solar radiation blocked or attenuated by local topography and streamside vegitation."
